Kildare County Council, on behalf of GMC Utilities Group Ltd, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following roads on Saturday, 19 September 2026 to Sunday, 20 September 2026 and Saturday, 26 September 2026 to Sunday, 27 September 2026 to facilitate watermain laying works on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

Alternative Routes: R406 Straffan Road from Maynooth Continue on the R406 Straffan Road and take a left at junction with Mullen Park Road. Continue on Mullen Park Road onto Griffin Rath Manor. Turn right at the T- junction with R405 Celbridge Road. R405 from Celbridge Take a left at junction with Griffin Rath Manor. Continue on Griffin Rath Manor to Mullen Park Road. Turn right at junction of Mullen Park Road with the R406. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
