Kildare County Council, on behalf of Coffey, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to have intermittent closure on the following road on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 – Wednesday, 4 November 2026 to facilitate works on behalf of Uisce Eireann for the Enfield Water Supply Scheme.

Alternative Routes: Northbound on L1007 Continue on the L1007 past the L5028-1 junction for 550m until you reach the L5027-2 junction, take a right onto the L5027-2 and continue for 1.3km until you reach the L50281-0 junction. Take a right onto the L50281-0, continue for 1.3km until you reach the L5028-1 junction where the diversion ends. Westbound on the L5028 Take a right at the closure point onto the L50281-0, continue for 1.3km until you reach the L5027-2 junction. Take a left onto the L5027-2 and continue for 1.3km until you reach the L1007. Take a left onto the L1007 and continue for 550m until you reach the L5028-1 junction where the diversion ends. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
