Kildare County Council, on behalf of Shareridge Utilities Ltd, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994, that it intends to close the following road on Tuesday, 11 August 2026 to Saturday, 15 August 2026 to facilitate surface dressing.

Alternative Routes: 1. L2032 closure between Cluain Lara and Mylerstown Cross Southbound traffic on the R448 is to continue south and turn north (right) on to the L6073 (Stephenstown Lawns) 2.1km. Eastbound traffic on the L2032 is to divert south onto the L6073 (Stephenstown Lawns) and then north-east (left) onto the R448 2.1km. 2. L2023 closure between Mylerstown Cross and Mullacash Cross Northbound traffic on the R448 is to continue north on the R448 (Kilcullen Road) to Naas 4.1km then take the R447 (south ring road) eastbound heading toward Blessington 350m, turn south (right) onto the R411 (Ballymore Road), continue south to Watch House Cross and turn west (right) 2.7km. Northbound traffic on the R411 (Ballymore Road) is to continue north to Naas 2.7km, turn west (left) onto the R447 (south ring road) 350m, proceed to the R448 (Kilcullen Road) roundabout and turn south (left) 4.1km. Local traffic already on the L2023 heading west between the R411 and R448 is to turn north (right) onto the L6044 (Oldtown) for 1.3km and join the detour route on the R448, left for Two Mile House or right for Naas. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
