Kildare County Council, gives notice, on behalf of Globalvia Jons Ltd, in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following roads between Monday, 16 June 2025 and Monday, 30 June 2025 as well as Monday, 7 July 2025 and Friday, 11 July 2025 for the M4 Bus Priority Measures Pilot Scheme between Junction 6 and Junction 5 on the M4 Eastbound.

Alternative routes for M4 (Eastbound):
Junction 6 to Junction 5
Divert from the M4 at Junction 6 (Leixlip/ Celbridge Interchange), turn left onto the R449, at the first roundabout take the second exit continuing straight until the junction. At the traffic lights turn right onto the R148. Continue straight on the R148 through the main street (Leixlip Road) and rejoin the M4 Junction 5 Eastbound.
Diversionary routes, will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted Local Access will be maintained.
