Kildare County Council, on behalf of Coras Pipeline Services Ltd Coras Pipeline Services Ltd gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road on Monday, 06 July 2026 to facilitate excavation for cabling works and reinstatement.

Alternative Routes: Via; 1. R405 – R403 - R406 – L5065 2. R403 – R406 – L5065 Northbound traffic travelling on the L4998 should continue straight until the junction with R405 and turn right. Continue until the junction with Main Street and turn right. Continue along the R403 Clane Road until the junction with L4998 and turn left. Continue until the roundabout and take the last exit and continue along the R406 until the right turn for the L5065.
Southbound traffic travelling on the L4998 should continue until the roundabout and take the last exit and continue along the R406 until the right turn for the L5065. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
