Kildare County Council Commences Summary of Social Housing Assessments (SSHA) 2026
Kildare County Council has commenced the Summary of Social Housing Assessments 2026. This is a review of social housing needs in County Kildare.
The review applies to housing applicants who were approved for Social Housing Supports with Kildare County Council, between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2019, and who have not updated their housing file in the past 12 months.
Relevant applicants will receive a Summary of Social Housing Assessments 2026 form and an introductory letter by post in the coming days.
Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) tenants, Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS) tenants and Local Authority or AHB transfer tenants do not need to complete this form.
Completed forms and supporting documents must be returned to Kildare County Council by Monday, 7 September 2026.
Under the departmental directive, applicants who do not return a fully completed Summary of Social Housing Assessments 2026 form, together with all relevant documentation, will result in the applicant’s file being closed and the applicant will be removed from the housing list.
