Kildare County Council, on behalf of GMC Utilities Group Ltd, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road on Monday, 09 November 2026 to Friday, 27 November 2026 to facilitate construction of PRV and kiosk on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

Alternative Routes: Traffic from Dunshane/Harristown: Turn left onto Stephenstown Lawns. Continue for 1.4 km, then turn right onto the R448 towards Mylerstown. After 1.3 km, turn right onto L2023. Continue east on L2023 to rejoin Mullacash Middle beyond the road closure. Traffic from Mullacash North: Turn right onto L2023. After 900 metres, turn left onto the R448 towards Kilcullen. Continue for 1.3 km, then turn left onto Stephenstown Lawns. After 1.4 km, rejoin Mullacash Middle beyond the closure. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged via our Consultation Portal https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en and be addressed to the Senior Executive Officer of Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces. All submissions must be made on or before on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 19 October 2026.
